It started at a kitchen table in Texas
In 2020, my brother Michael and I sat down at a kitchen table in Texas. We were tired of settling for "good enough."
Every shirt we owned did one of two things. It clung to the gut, or it fit like a tent. We'd size up to hide one problem and end up with the other.
We wanted gear that actually fits guys like us. Real men with real bodies. We couldn't find it, so we made it. That's how Patriot Crew started.
The cheaper way we passed on
Sooner or later, most shirt companies hear the same pitch. A print shop overseas can do the printing for less. A lot less.
Most brands take it, and I understand why. It saves them a lot of money.
But when you do that, you give up standing next to the shirt press, knowing the people who print your shirts. Ultimately, when a run comes out wrong, you hear it from the customer instead of the shop floor.
We could have moved the printing too. We chose not to.
